This bridge needs neither praise, eulogy nor encomium. It speaks for itself. (Joseph B. Strauss)

I love the Golden Gate and its bridge. While living in Sonoma and Marin County, I have been fortunate enough to cross the bridge on my commute. To me, it is not only one of the greatest monuments of all time, it is also an iconic symbol of people achieving their dreams. “It’s never too late, nor are the odds ever too great to try” – that’s the spirit of the American West. And that’s how ingenuity paired with hard work made the people who worked on this bridge achieve crossing the Golden Gate.

The Golden Gate Bridge has many faces. In my photographic work, I enjoy capturing this monument at different seasons. Be it in August, when “Karl the Fog” embraces the bridge each day, or be it in summer, when the bridge’s specific color sparkles in the sun.
